- Q: Hoe sterk zijn de vacuüm cups?
- A: "Sterk als een stier." 11 cm vacuüm cups hebben een trekkracht van 60 kg, als ze recht uit het midden worden getrokken. De trekkracht bij schuifbelasting, d.w.z. trekken vanaf de zijkant, zal minder zijn. 15 cm vacuüm cups hebben een nominale trekkracht van 100 kg. Door meerdere vacuüm cups op één product te plaatsen wordt de maximale trekkracht uiteraard vermenigvuldigd.
- Q: Hoe lang gaan de vacuüm cups mee voordat ze hun kracht verliezen?
- A: Er is geen vaste tijdslimiet voor onze vacuüm cups. Het hangt gedeeltelijk af van het oppervlak waarop u bevestigt, de toestand van de vacuüm cups, de belasting die u erop uitoefent en andere factoren. Wat betreft de te bevestigen oppervlakken: vacuüm cups zijn over het algemeen ontworpen om grote glasplaten en andere vaste materialen te dragen, dus gladdere, vlakkere oppervlakken zijn ideaal. Schone oppervlakken en schone SeaSuckers zorgen voor een maximale houdbaarheid. Hoe dan ook, als de vacuüm cup wat vacuüm begint te verliezen, zal hij u waarschuwen zodat u hem weer op volle kracht kunt zetten voordat hij loskomt. De zuiger van de vacuümpomp steekt uit de pompcilinder als hij kracht begint te verliezen, waardoor een oranje indicatieband zichtbaar wordt. Zodra u oranje ziet, is dat het teken om uw SeaSucker opnieuw op te pompen. Voor autorekken is het eenvoudigst om het rek te controleren voordat u in uw voertuig stapt, en het te controleren telkens wanneer u stopt om te tanken, te eten of naar het toilet te gaan.
- Q: Moet ik het oppervlak waaraan ik mijn SeaSucker ga bevestigen schoonmaken?
- A: Verwijder vuil van het montageoppervlak voordat u de SeaSucker bevestigt. Als u toch bezig bent, zorg er dan voor dat de afdichtingsrand van de vacuüm cup ook schoon is. U hoeft het montageoppervlak niet te reinigen met alcoholdoekjes, maar een snelle veeg met een natte papieren handdoek of servet kan geen kwaad. I had wanted to place the rear mount point on my spoiler and the one that came with the Talon was a bit too snug fitting. It worked, but made me worry that it would lose suction due to a small leak. I started wondering if SeaSucker had a smaller version and voila, they did. I was able to swap out the flat mount to the tire grooved one that came with my Talon and it works exactly how I wanted it to. As the rear one is really more for stability, I'm not worried it's going to not be strong enough for my purposes. Love it!

The 4.5" is plenty strong to hold the rear wheel. However the larger diameter mount allows customers to place it in more locations. Due to it's larger size, it can be used on flimsier surfaces, as the larger diameter deflects more impact, preventing damage to even the thinnest of rooflines.
